Sunday at East Coast Park

Was amused when I saw Hubby sitting with Gine, 'sea-gazing' when we were at ECP last Saturday...
Perhaps I was too imaginative, hmmm...imagine this was a scene in a movie, and you fast forward to 10 years later, or even 20 years? Hee hee...
Well, we happened to decide to drive over to Playground @ Big Splash (not too near to our house though) as Gine was having her term break from Shichida. Mummy Barney had wanted to try the coffee at Old Town White Coffee which was started by Mediacorp artiste Mark Lee with Director Jack Neo and another friend in February this year...
Would definitely recommend this: nice ambience, not too expensive for their food and coffee. Tried their curry chicken toast with hubby (and even Gine who took a piece of the toasted bread) - Thumbs up! (Perhaps also partly cos I miss Mum's curry chicken). On the other hand, their French toast is only so-so (even Gine refused to have a second bite!)...Thumbs up for their iced Hazelnut White Coffee but Hubby's black coffee was not that fantastic (For those who may start to think that Mummy Barney and Hubby have ordered too much, this was actually our lunch + dinner).

And so happened that there was an event organised by the National Family Council - Kidz Walkz, the finale of National Family Celebrations ’08.

Crowded with lots of families who were invited to to walk along a 1km trail along East Coast Park. Free popcorn, candy floss, prawn cracker (Calbee ok!), balloons etc. Unfortunately, Gine did not like the noisy atmosphere (guess the emcee was too loud over the microphone) and even the balloon sculpture did not appeal to her (till we brought her to the sea side)...
